```Marky Ramone New York Concert reviews
Nothing to be modest about
Missed the Boat, a crowd-pleasing favorite, opened the show with a unique sound lent by six band members and a huge array of instruments. They clearly put everything they have for a phenomenal show. Brock's poetic and soulful lyrics were a highlight. The setlist was incredibly diverse, drawing on most of their albums, with more selections from their most popular albums, Good News for People Who Love Bad News and We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. The music was LOUD, but in a way that suited it, with rhythmic, pumping, and always building up to a frenzied crescendo sound. Ultimately drowning out all other senses, leaving you feeling enveloped in pure, raw sound that appeals to your most primitive nature, the incredible climax was Spitting Venom. If you don't catch their performance at your next opportunity, you'll have truly missed the boat.
